A Day Trip To Singapore

We arrived at the Singapore Changi Airport around 2:00 in the afternoon and I’m freaking out because we just had a day to tour around the city.

Taxi Cab is too expensive that’s why we bought the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) 1 day pass for $10 w/ refundable rental deposit of another $10. I’m very excited because I heard a lot of good stuffs about the city.

The first place we visited is the Bugis Junction. It’s a Mall similar to City Creek Center in Salt Lake, Utah. We just had a quick snack and stroll in the place. After that we went to the station near Haji Lane.

Haji lane is not just the hipster/arab street of the Singapore but it’s also has alley of art, murals, graffiti and shops. So if you are artsy and a coffee lover. This place is perfect for you.

Our next location is at the Bay Front Station. We are actually running fast just to capture the famous Merlion and the awesome view of the Marina Bay Sands.

I noticed that the sunset hour in Singapore is around 7:00-7:30 PM. So I got more time to take a pictures.

And we moved to Gardens By The Bay. Surreal and stunning super tree grove. I felt that we are actually at the Jurassic Park. Amazing indoor flower and forest dome. My new favorite place in Singapore. This place was just mind blowing.

And the last day tour we did is at the Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall. The constructions are absolutely wonderful, Massive displays everywhere.

This place is way too big.

The Mall is also connected at the hotel. All I can say it’s very fascinating just “Wow“.

After a long day, We decided to go back to our hotel and get a quick rest because we had a fine dining dinner at like 62nd floor in Stellar At One Altitude.

The restaurant has a perfect view of the MBS (Marina Bay Sands) and the city lights. Food is kinda expensive but it has a delicate touched by the chefs which makes the food extra special.

To complete the night We also visited the One Altitude Bar, which is located at the tallest point of Singapore. Incredible view and awesome crowd. I really had a great time.

So you don’t need to worry, if you are lack of time when visiting Singapore because you can go to famous places and do everything in just a day.
